Using your imagination is a skill you can develop with practice.  Here’s one idea for sparking creativity in your child.

Collect hats in your house.

• Count them.

• Organize them by size.

• Organize them by color.

• Ask your child if there is another way he or she would like to organize them.

• Take turns telling stories inspired by each hat.

Let people wear the hats at dinner and repeat your stories for everybody’s enjoyment while eating dinner.
