Art and Determination

Monday’s Parenting Thought

45 Sidebar 2

When children do art (drawing, painting, sculpting, music, dance, acting, sewing, cooking, etc.), they have to stick with it and persevere.

Art takes time to unfold. If children are not determined to finish, they won’t get the satisfaction of seeing their final product.

Let your child practice sticking with things. Let him or her do art this week.

Inspired by the picture book, MORRIS THE ARTIST.
