Ways to Learn What Your Children Can Do or Wish They Can Do

Monday’s Parenting Thought
Learn what your children can do or what they wish they could do by trying the following activities.
  1. Have your children draw the things they can do.
  2. Have your children draw some things they wish they could do.
  3. Have your children help make up a list of lunch menus that they can make for themselves – or can mostly make by themselves. Post the list somewhere in the kitchen.
  4. Have your children pick one lunch from their menu list that you posted in the kitchen. Have them fix the lunch they picked. Celebrate what they can do as you have lunch together.
Inspired by THE THINGS I CAN DO by Jeff Mack.
