Four Reasons to Read to Your Children

Monday’s Parenting Thought
No matter how old they are, reading to your children leads to:
  1. Snuggle time –snuggles are good for us at all ages.
  2. Learning words – words are very useful, much better than whining or sulking.
  3. Learning to read – reading is the basis for all learning.
  4. Sparking imagination – those who know how and are not afraid to use their minds to “imagine” and be creative are good problem solvers.
