YOU DESERVE COMPLIMENTS

Below is my post, YOU DESERVE COMPLIMENTS. Also see my SPECIAL MESSAGE TO MY READERS about changes in my blog this year.
When someone pays you a compliment this week, do not throw it away.  Accept it fully.  A simple “thank you” is a good response.

Do not say, “It’s nothing. Oh, this old thing. I hate my hair. John is much better at it.” Don’t say any anything that “discounts” your compliment.

If the children you care about are old enough, share with them how you are practicing accepting compliments. If you see them throw away or “discount” a compliment, encourage them to believe and accept the compliment.

What do you think?
