Appreciation is Powerful


Appreciation is a powerful idea. It can both be calming and invigorating. 
Get out your list from the post, Do You Need It or Want It (10.7.24). If you haven’t made a needs/wants list yet look at the post and make it now.
Once you have your list, write why you appreciate what you have from that list – from either the needs side or the wants side.
If ideas come into your mind about things you wish you had, push those thoughts out of your mind. This is about appreciating what you do have, not wishing for more. If you have any trouble concentrating on what you have and not thinking about what you wish for, say to yourself, “How can I be happy with more, if I can’t be happy with what I have?” BONUS: Ask yourself if you have anything extra of the things you have that you could share with others.
