Today’s Parenting Tip:

Decide:        Some of your compliments can be about what your child does well.

Practice:      Give 5 compliments today to children you care about.  Make them about something the child has done.  (“Your picture has beautiful bright colors in it.”) These are compliments the child earns by learning skills and doing things well or by following rules.
