Below is my post, OVERPOWERING VS BEING POWERFUL. Also see my SPECIAL MESSAGE TO MY READERS about changes in my blog this year.
Overpowering Is Not the Same as Being Powerful. Powerful people are not powerful because they overpower other people.
This week, list ways to be powerful. Cross out any idea that puts down, hurts, or uses power against others. Try one of your ways to be powerful from your list. Think about how it worked. Decide to keep it on your list as is, change it in some way to make it work better, or take it off your list.
If the children you care about are old enough, share your list with them. Explain that you are practicing being powerful without needing to overpower others. Ask them if they would like to try to make a similar list that might help them be powerful but not overpowering with family members, schoolmates, or neighborhood friends.

What do you think?
