Every time someone wishes you a Happy Mother’s Day today, let it be a reminder to you that you can be the parent you want to be.
Remember, if you are reading this blog, you are working to be the parent you want to be. Celebrate all your successes.
If you are a male, acting as both mother and father, wish yourself a Happy Mother’s Day today as well. You deserve to celebrate both Mother’s and Father’s Day.
If you are from a country that doesn’t celebrate Mother’s Day today, celebrate anyway. You can celebrate again when your home country celebrates.
We should celebrate every time a country anywhere is honoring Mothers – we deserve to pat ourselves on the back as many times as possible for this very hard job we do.

For each book, we are noting there is something in it to remind you of how to be the parent you want to be.

A reminder how important it is for your children to learn to wait.
A reminder about what it means when your child says no and how important your response can be.
A reminder that it is important to help your child handle his or her aggression.
A reminder of how important it is for your child to have your attention.
